The Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorite books.

I agree with this %100. I don’t think those books were called classics, won awards & put into our schools for nothing. They all contain knowledge & an experience of this life that we had barely have begun living in high school. I wish kids would appreciate the fact that these books are offered to them to learn from & enjoy.
