an ex-beau of mine had put this song on one of the mix cds he made for me.
what I mean is, this song has a sort of deep sentimental value that I can not explain in words. & when I hear it I feel things flitter within me & I want to return to that summer when I spent a whole afternoon laying on my bed, with the warm sun baking me through my window, as I listened to beautiful ballads that all in some small way told me he loved me.
he did love me then. even though it’s over now, he loved me well then.
& for that I am grateful.
